1. About StationRecord

StationRecord is an automated radio show recording and upload service operated by StationRecord Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). The service is available at stationrecord.co.uk and stationrecord.com.

StationRecord records audio from internet radio streams according to schedules you configure, stores those recordings, and optionally uploads them to third-party platforms such as SoundCloud and Mixcloud on your behalf.

2. Eligibility

To use StationRecord you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a legitimate radio broadcaster or representative of a radio station
• Have the legal right to record and redistribute the content of your stream
• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account

3. Free Trial

We offer a 7-day free trial for new accounts. During the trial period:

• You have full access to all StationRecord features
• A valid payment method is required to start the trial
• You will not be charged during the 7-day trial period
• If you cancel before the trial ends, no charge will be made
• If you do not cancel, your subscription will automatically begin at the end of the trial at the rate you selected

4. Subscriptions and Billing

StationRecord is offered on a subscription basis. The following terms apply:

• Monthly plan: £39.99 per month, billed monthly in advance
• Annual plan: £399.90 per year, billed annually in advance
• All prices include VAT where applicable
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• If a payment fails, we will retry and notify you. Access may be suspended if payment cannot be collected

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account Settings page. On cancellation:

• You will retain full access until the end of your current billing period
• No refunds are issued for partial billing periods
• Your account will switch to read-only mode after the billing period ends
• Your show configurations and recording history will be retained for 30 days, after which your account may be deleted

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use StationRecord only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Record streams you do not have permission to record or redistribute
• Use StationRecord to record copyrighted content without appropriate licences
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or otherwise compromise the service
• Share your account credentials with third parties
• Use the service in a way that places excessive load on our infrastructure

You are responsible for ensuring you hold the appropriate broadcasting and music licences (such as PPL, PRS for Music, or equivalent) for the content you record and redistribute.

7. Recording and Storage

StationRecord stores recordings on our servers for a period of 28 days (4 weeks). After this period, recordings are automatically deleted. We recommend downloading or uploading recordings to third-party platforms promptly.

We do not guarantee the availability or integrity of stored recordings. You should maintain your own backups of important content.

8. Third-Party Services

StationRecord integrates with third-party services including SoundCloud, Mixcloud, and Stripe. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions, availability, or policies of these third parties.

9. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for missed recordings due to:

• Scheduled or emergency maintenance
• Third-party service outages (including your stream provider)
• Network interruptions outside our control
• Force majeure events

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StationRecord Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of recordings, lost profits, or loss of data.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content recorded through StationRecord. We claim no ownership over your recordings. By using our service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your recordings solely for the purpose of providing the service.

12. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the service in a way that harms others or the integrity of our platform.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
